Affiliate Membership Details:

We invite you to join our organization as an Affiliate Member, which is a new membership category designed for individuals ($50/year) or institutions ($200/year) that have an interest in supporting MICNP (certified nurse practitioners and nurse practitioner students are ineligible for this category). While an Affiliate Member is not entitled to vote, hold office, or participate in any standing committee of MICNP, this level of membership allows you to publicly show your support for our organization. Affiliate Members will be announced in our weekly email and quarterly newsletter as they join, and the individual/institution name will be listed on our website for a full year from the date of payment received on an annual basis. Affiliate Members will also receive a 10% discount off of 1) 30-day job postings on the MICNP website career center and 2) event advertisements on the MICNP website.

Formed in 2000 as a professional membership association representing all nurse practitioner specialties throughout the state, the Michigan Council of Nurse Practitioners (MICNP) seeks to provide nurse practitioners the leadership and resources to improve their practice environment through education of its members and the community, legislative support on issues affecting the profession, and promoting access to nurse practitioner services. MICNP represents the interests of more than 7,000 NPs and is an affiliate member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP). Our website is a primary source of information pertaining to professional issues, including employment opportunities, educational programs and events, and policy information pertaining to practice and healthcare issues.

If you have additional questions, please contact MICNP Executive Director Jacquelen Timm at [email protected] or the business office at 734.432.9881.
